What other elements are there to distance learning? What’s missing?

Wednesday, August 30th, 2006

I don’t know. Is there something missing or is this the most efficient way to teach? After reading different web sites on this issue and my classmates responses I have different feeling about this topic. I enjoy the convenience of this type of class, I don’t have to drive an hour one way to class […]

The class definition of distance learning

Wednesday, August 30th, 2006

Well I made it, […]

There is a link about the Online Education text on BB in the External Links section. It’s not word for word but it is a very similar text and it also provides some links relating to the topic G.Kearsley is discussing. So, check out this resource if you prefer to read text from the screen rather […]

Tips and Tricks

Sunday, August 27th, 2006

I attended the tips and tricks on Tapped In last night. The virtual campus was really interesting. One thing I thought was really intersting is the fact that I can set up a place where my students can do an assignment at the campus and the results will be sent to me. As I was […]

All of this stuff this week is running together in my brain. I really don’t know what I need to do with the blog. Ask me again in a week I might have more of an idea.

Considering distance

Saturday, August 26th, 2006

Well I think this doesn’t really fell as though my instructor is on the other side of the states from me because I had more discussion with him in one week than I have had in some of my other classes with a face-to-face instructor.

For a few days I have been playing hide-and-seek with my blog page. It seems to have returned for the moment, no telling when it will take another vacation.
